Bruin Bash

CONCERTS STAFF 

As a member of UCLA’s Campus Events Commission (CEC), I’ve had the opportunity to help organize Bruin Bash, which has featured artists in the past such as PinkPantheress, Ravyn Lenae, Cupcakke, Charli XCX, and this year’s headliner, Doechii.

Being part of the Concerts Staff has given me valuable experience in reaching out to both major and indie record labels. My role involves selecting talent that aligns with the event’s vibe while maintaining the utmost secrecy, as this is a highly anticipated event for the entire student body.

This role has exposed me to a diverse range of new music and has significantly expanded my musical palate. Much like an A&R professional, I am constantly introduced to emerging artists throughout the year and tasked with selecting talent for our concerts. My responsibility is to identify artists who not only align with our budget but also have the potential to rise to stardom.
